Satrurday Update - Heading Home
Another good day. Mom is heading home. They kept her an extra day because they wanted to make sure the anomaly on her lung was not pneumonia. It was not, they are letting her go this evening. She had a touch of nausea this morning, but that has passed.
So now starts the next phase of recovery. This is going to tough, but mom, as always, has a fantastic attitude and I am certain the rest of the recovery will be as successful as the first.
Thanks for all the support. Mom loves the comments and will now be able to read them herself!

Great news! I just read this to Bill Bremmeyer who had knee surgery yesterday. He will call you later and you two can chat about how you are both feeling. Muffy..this would be a great time to beat him at cribbage since he is on pain killers!!

Muffy,
Terrific news. There is nothing like your own bed.
Connie had a good point, just because you are upright, that does not mean you need to be in the kitchen. Larry has come a long way in the kitchen department. He is going after a chicken dinner tonight!
It is very cold, a high of 31 deg today. Winds last night of 70 mph plus. We envy you of your moderate climate.
Love,
Roberta

You sure saved Suzanne much money by having her visit you instead of going to the futurity. Now, the two of you need to come to Hawaii to see me! I am so happy that things are going well. You are in my prayers. Bert

Good Morning Muffy!!!
Hey, glad to know you are going home...It is -3 degrees here this morning, 2 days ago it was 47 above. Go figure. I just let the dogs out and there were 2 mallards in my pond in the back yard...my finches have not come back this year to the feeder outside my kitchen window...I wonder why? I am hoping to come and visit, but with a woodstove now I am not sure how. My grandma is going to be 99 years old tomorrow...I can't believe it, I sure wish I could get back to see her too...it has been 2 years now...so how long will it be before you can go back to Wyoming? Or can you go? I am so happy for you and glad that you are back to yourself again...I'll bet you miss home...Say hi to Suzanne if she is still there. The roads back here have been terrible the last couple of days. I will keep in touch, Love ya lots, Steph

Muffy,
We were so excited to hear the good news, and that your recovery is going well. You've missed a nasty cold spell here, but we are sure you don't miss that at all

Hi Muffy,
Great to hear that you are heading home! I am looking forward to hearing from you and how everything is going. I have talked to several WCHA members who are wishing you the best. Hope you got to see the futurity! I taped it and going to watch today. It is 70 degrees here today - almost too hot to ride. Sounds like wind and snow in Wyoming - ugh!
