Wednesday Morning

Dad and I got to the hospital at about 11 and mom was snoozing. She had a rough night last night. Her epidural came loose and her pain medication was not effective. They pulled it out and she is on oral pain medication. She is feeling much better but drowsy and a bit loopy. She went for a walk and got her exercise for the day before we arrived.

Mom and Dad are having "pill training" this afternoon so they can get the daily regimen down. Appearently, there is quite a routine to follow. Dad and I are going to start deep cleaning the apartment this evening. Caroline Hight has offered to help clean this weekend and Dad is happy to have her assistance. The apartment needs to be as free of bacteria and germs as possible when mom gets there.

Though last night was rough, she is still improving as well or better than expected.

Hello all, This website makes it so easy to follow Muffy's progress. She is one tough lady. Tell her hello for us. Every A.M. & P.M. Ginny asks if we got an email. I would LOVE to watch you guys do that DEEP house cleaning. It would be worth the trip if I didn't have so much going on. It sounds like she is in good hands and has good drugs. We wish her the best of LUCK and a speedy recovery. Be careful you guys don't ruin your hands in that soap and water. Maybe you should wear some of them housecleaning gloves so all the grease doesn't come out from under your fingernails. Be sure and wear an apron and a hanky around your heads. Actually I think you should hire a cleaning lady. She could do it in half the time. {to many trips to the fridge Haw!Haw!} Anyway it is always good to hear the good news. Later, Gary
