Early Afternoon Update - more good news
We just got some more good news. Mom is being moved out of ICU later this afternoon. She is still on "the good meds" and is very sleepy, but doing well. She is breathing well and her oxygen levels are very strong. She got a new nurse named Mike. He is taking good care of her.
Not much esle beyond that, but we were happy to hear that she is still improving.

Listen, kiddos, all that GUY-TALK would make anyone sleepy!!! Why not talk to Muff about wine. In fact, we will be having a glass in yall's honor in about an hour.
Cheers and Prayers to all of you!

Hi Muffy! I am so excited for you--I can't stop smiling! You are doing so great--it is an inspiration to Joanne and I. I am so glad you got rid of the ventilator. I know you were worried about that, Keep up the good work sweetie and we'll come visit whenever you are ready. I am going to hit the dreaded support group tomorrow--maybe they'll drag you down!

Hi Muffy & family,
I just got the news today and am thrilled to hear of your progress. I was on my horse today down here in beautiful South Carolina and you popped into my head!!! I was thinking "I gotta call Muffy". Then Doug came to the dinner table with the comment "I have some exciting news". (He saw the email before me.) Anyway, I am so happy for you after all the waiting and so pleased to hear that everything is going great. Can't wait to hear from you when you get your voice back!!!
We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers!
Love,
Jamie & Doug
P.S. Thanks to Max for this great website!

Hey Guys - Great to hear that the day is going well. You dodged an ugly one here in Wyo today - Blowing snow and that whole deal - You're in the right spot!!
Hope this finds you well, and all "knowed up" about when you get to bring Muff home!!

Congratulations Muffy and Family,
Joanne and I are so excited for all of you. We could hardly digest the great news when Glenn called Friday night, it was so overwhelming. We had moments of being speechless, moments of tears, and finally moments of gratitude for being a part of your life and being able to witness this miracle with you. You have been and will always be a great friend. Joanne already misses you in Pulmonary Rehab class. You are an inspiration to all who are fortunate enough to get to know you. We love you and look forward to seeing you soon. You are in our thoughts and prayers each and every minute!
Love Becky and Joanne (Pre-Lung Patient)

Muffy,
48 years ago about this time of year, Aunt Mary and Aunt Cozy delivered their Christmas gifts. I don't remember how long of a discussion we had wondering if they gave Penny and Blake something more interesting than Max and Me and you. After opening and re-wrapping very carefully, we decided we liked our presents best. Looking back, I suspect you were far more experienced in this endeavor than I?
So happy you are doing great!
Love,
Roberta
